Become a Board Member
Give something back to your community. Be involved in local issues. Have input and offer direction on important decisions taken by an organization that is vital to the health and well being of the community. Our organization is diverse and constantly evolving to meet community needs.
Board membership involves attendance at regular monthly meetings, participation in one or more sub-committees, and involvement in the occasional special event.
Board members must be Southern Gulf Island residents who have an interest and understanding and supporting what we do and what our workmeans to those we serve.
Contact our main office (250) 537-9971. You will be put in touch with the Board Recruitment Committee. Nominations will be screened based on the interests, commitment, capacity and skills offered by the prospective board member.
